About Jay
I like making things people can be part of.
I'm Jay Ahya, founder of Experience Co., the company behind BHX and Bucketlist.
I design residencies, journeys and gatherings. Some bring founders, artists and creators together for a week. Others are shared adventures, collaborations with brands, or smaller experiments with a workbook and a room.
The question underneath the work is simple: what becomes possible when people step outside their usual worlds and experience something together?

The idea and the details
I like the point where an idea starts becoming real. Who is coming? What are we inviting them into? What happens in the first hour? What should we deliberately leave unplanned?
I care about the practical side too. The team, the food, the room, the transport and the person who needs something different from the rest of the group. Those details are part of the experience—not separate from the creative work.
None of it happens alone. The work is made with the Experience Co. team, hosts, facilitators, artists, local partners and the people who take part.

Not everything needs to be a breakthrough
I'm interested in experiences where people can meet someone outside their usual circle, try something unfamiliar, think out loud or simply have a good time without having to perform.
Sometimes a friendship or a collaboration follows. Sometimes the experience itself is enough. I don't believe a good holiday needs a productivity report.

What I'm exploring now
I'm writing about the decisions behind the work: what we choose, what we leave open and what each project teaches us.
I'm also exploring smaller formats. The Soul Prompt brings handwriting, reflection and an optional AI conversation into a facilitated session. It begins with the person, not a demonstration of the technology.
This site is a place for those projects and questions to sit together.

Work with me
I'm interested in gatherings, residencies, cultural collaborations and workshops where the experience itself deserves careful thought.
Tell me what you're trying to make possible. It doesn't need to be a finished brief.
